Run Down:
-I don't know very much about stocks to be honest, what I do know is that if you own a stock you own a part of a company and the their worth fluctuates, as well as you make money by selling stocks that rose in worth.
I bought each of my stocks due to how well they were doing at the time, but other factors do play into which stocks I picked specifically. I bought FedEx because I see one of their trucks everyday, to me this is a sign that the company is doing well. For Coca-Cola and Pepsi I knew that the companies sales go back and fourth thus I knew that I would be making money on either one of the two on any day. I bought stock in EA because every year they come out with popular top selling games. Johnson & Johnson I bought because I'm a parent and figured you can never go wrong with stocks in baby companies. With Office Depot and Sirius XM I grabbed some of their stocks simply because they're well known. The last three companies I bought just because their stocks were doing well, I have no idea what type of companies they are.
